Kuo Shuay's motors are divided into 8 standard series (AEEF, AEVF, AEHH, AEUH, ANEF, ANVF, ANHH, ANUH) plus various custom series for specific industry applications. All eight standard series are IEC-standard motors ranging from 0.5HP to 20HP, differentiated by mounting type, efficiency, and housing material. Below we explain the differences between the series and the range of custom motor applications.
 

Standard Motor Series

All eight standard series are IEC-standard motors ranging from 0.5HP to 20HP, differentiated by mounting type, efficiency, and housing material. Mounting types include horizontal (foot-mounted) and vertical (flange-mounted); regardless of series, motors with the same frame number share the same mounting dimensions. Efficiency is divided into standard efficiency and IE3 high efficiency: since 2017, North America, the EU, mainland China, Japan, and Korea have all set motor efficiency regulations, so choosing the right efficiency class is essential for entering the corresponding market. As for housing, traditional cast iron motors are larger and heavier; Kuo Shuay's reduced-frame aluminum housing motors are attractive, dissipate heat well, and are lighter, suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
