The dimension of the high efficiency 7.5HP 4 poles motor is the same as the traditional standard motor and it has the standard mounting holes. The average efficiency exceeds the nominal efficiency of IE3 regulation: 91.7%. Compared with traditional motors, it can save nearly 5% in electricity costs, and can save considerable energy consumption in long-term use. The motor has certification including UL for North America, BSMI for Taiwan, GB2 for China, and CE for the European Union. Due to the design of high efficiency motor, Kuo Shuay upgraded the core material of the motor in order to reduce the core loss. The longer the operation, the more electricity costs can be saved. F class insulation is used to improve the durability of the motor, and it can have a tolerant higher temperature rise during overloaded and avoid damage to the coil or motor.
The 7.5HP2P high efficiency motor is designed according to IEC60034 standard. The efficiency reaches IE3 level (equivalent to NEMA premium level). The motor has aluminum frame and the terminal box can be rotated for 90°, let the cable entrance become flexible. Current certification includes UL (North America), BSMI (Taiwan) and CE (Europe). The motor can be used to different voltages from 200V to 480V with dual frequency 50Hz, 60Hz. The standard motor is fitted with high quality pre-lubricated double shielded ball bearings, reduce the vibration and noise during operation. The insulation system is class F, which let the motor have more temperature tolerance when overloaded. The flange mounting dimensions are following the IEC standard. Therefore, it can be used to replace the traditional (IE1 efficiency or less) motor or the iron cast frame motor.
